Our History
Adalberto Aparecido Perez, a mechanical engineer with 32 years of experience in the areas of boilermaking, machining, tooling and engineering, founded EME Engenharia de Máquinas Especiais Ltda. in 1990, in the city of Santo André/SP. In 1991, the opportunity arose to develop an innovative equipment for sealing chicken packages with adhesive tape for Sadia S/A. With that, he founded TECMAES Tecnologia de Máquinas Especiais Ltda., in São Bernardo do Campo/SP, starting the manufacture of Jetfix Sealers. This equipment replaced plastic seals and metal clips, making the packages suitable for export.
In order to expand its operations and get closer to its main poultry sector customers in Paraná and Santa Catarina, TECMAES transferred its operations to Ourinhos/SP in 1995, setting up its own headquarters. From the 2000s onwards, it diversified its portfolio with the development of Hot Stamping Thermodaters, used for thermal printing on plastic packaging, labels and tags, in addition to Thermal Sealers, which ensure uniform welding through a controlled heating system.
In 2004, it expanded its line with the launch of Labellers, equipment designed for the automatic application of labels and tags on various types of products, increasing the industry’s productivity. In 2007, it invested in a new plant dedicated to the production of adhesive tapes, tags and tags, including equipment for printing and cutting materials.
In 2017, aiming to expand its production capacity, the company unified its operations and acquired a new area to expand its industrial park in Ourinhos/SP. Currently, TECMAES has a catalog of more than 400 pieces of equipment and a complete line of supplies, such as adhesive tapes, ribbons, hot stamping tapes and Teflon tapes, consolidating itself as a national reference in the packaging automation sector.
